Belleville, IL. (5/16/22) Witnessing a trio of premier POWRi Lighting Sprint Series events planned for competition over the weekend, the Midwest, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest divisions would take center stage in an attempt to continue the dramatic National Points chase with Bobby Layne, Johnny Boos, and Dalton Sexton all claiming victories.
Currently, within the POWRi Lightning Sprint National Point Championship standings, early divisional leader Dalton Sexton has retaken the top of the standings after the weekend competitions with SWLS patriarch Brent Sexton and Jeremy Queener joining the podium placement. Missouri wheelman Chase Fischer continued chasing points into Colorado while moving up the standings into eighth as fellow-traveling open-wheeler Chris Crowder also joined the fray to round out the top ten in national standings.
