Landon entered a single event over the weekend with a trip north to the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday evening.
Thirty-two drivers entered the showdown between the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Sooner Region and Warrior Region. Britt hit the ground running by winning his heat race from the pole position to earn the fifth-starting spot for the night's 25-lap feature.
Landon ran in the Top 5 for much of the event before getting pinched in lapped traffic allowing a handful of drivers to slip by. He ultimately crossed the finish line in the 10th position.
