J&B Motorsports Rock n Roll Recap
Press Release: 05/01/2012
Put together the Riverside Speedway regulars against the best ASCS has to offer and it is a combination for greatness. A total of 44 of the nations best showed up to do battle and that is exactly what it was. Jim pulled a high number pill and put him deep in Heat 5 starting behind the stack heavy hitters of Jason Johnson, Brady Bacon and Danny Wood of the ASCS. The pill draw left Jim starting dead last in the heat and after a near miss contact with Jason Johnson in Turn two their was no catching the leaders. Two B Mains were in place to give the remaining cars a chance at the 50 Lap Main event. Bob Thompson was able to get the car to Jims liking but once again Jim was starting 10th and needed to get by Tony Bruce Jr., Jason Johnson, Gary Wright and Wayne Johnson to have any chance of making the feature. Jim turned some good laps but was not close to catching the fast guys and transferring on finishing 11th. The team respects the toughness it takes to be good and fast at Riverside, No doubt one of the toughest places in the country to run. After being schooled by the ASCS National stars the team will now head to ThunderHill Raceway on May 12th for a regular sprint show. The team wishes Gary Wright and Wayne Johnson speedy recovery from some tough incidents on Saturday.
