Bryan Hulbert – RAPID CITY, S.D. (May 6, 2022) Adding a 10th ASCS Regional victory to his name, Oklahoma’s Ryan Timms grabbed the ASCS Northern Plains win at Black Hills Speedway.
Bringing the Northern Plains Region back after going by the wayside after the 2009 season, Timms is the 27th different driver to win with the South Dakota-based series.
Taking off from 10th, Timms raced to the lead on Lap 12. Unchallenged to the end, Timms was trailed to the finish by Colorado’s Nick Haygood. Third went to Kyler Johnson, while Kelly Miller and Travis Reber completed the top five.
The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
