ASCS Northern Plains Kicking Off 2022 Season At Black Hills Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – RAPID CITY, S.D. (May 3, 2022) The ASCS Northern Plains Region debut event takes place this Friday, May 6, at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City S.D.

A warmup show for several teams before the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour rolls in next week; the ASCS Northern Plains Region will situate primarily at the half-mile oval, as well as five events in Wyoming.

Opening weekend for the Black Hills Speedway 2022 season, Friday, May 6, is presented by Blake’s Trailer Sales. Divisions on the card include the ASCS Northern Plains Region, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, WISSOTA Mod-4s, WISSOTA Street Stocks, and WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds.

Friday, May 6, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $15 for Adults, $12 for Seniors and Veterans, $6 for Kids 12 and younger over four-feet tall, and free for Kids under four-feet tall.

Pits are in the infield. The access gate will close at 6:30 P.M.

The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
