May has always been a big month for racing at Cottage Grove Speedway with our marquee event, the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic on Memorial Weekend. But this year May is gonna be huge!! After our Spring Fling was rained out last weekend, making 4 rainouts for 360 Sprints, and pushing the season back yet again for them, a driver mentioned rescheduling it for May 13th and 14th which seemed like a great idea to us, but we had to make it even bigger, so we are bringing you MAYHEM IN MAY!! The Marvin Smith Memorial has and will always be such a big and meaningful event for all of us at Cottage Grove Speedway that the option to make it a mini-series was a must try! So there will be 5 nights over the course of 3 weekends ending with a Marvin Memorial Finale and if any driver sweeps it all they will go home with an unprecedented $20,000 payday! Street Stocks also have yet to hit the clay at Cottage Grove this season and we have not forgotten about you! May 13th we are adding you guys along with the 360s and bonus money for a 2 night clean sweep is growing, we will post more info for you guys soon as well!!
Tickets are available online for all of these events and you definitely will want to be at Cottage Grove all month because with this kind of money on the line, the racing is sure to have you on the edge of your seat and itching for more!!

360 Format all 5 Nights (May be adjusted for car count)
2 laps of qualifying – (Will be split into 2 groups, alternated by pill draw if 4 or more heat races will be ran)
6 car invert in heat races – 10 lap heats
4 heat races top 4 go to A Main (# of Heat Races will determine how many go to “A”)
Fastest 6 cars that make it thru the heat will run a 6-lap dash
The dash will be lined up by a random draw
The rest of the cars that make it thru the heat will get their time back and start heads up behind the dash
B mains will be lined up by qualifying time alternated.
