Lots of “New” news

After a rough start to the 2012 National ASCS campaign, Jack is back on track and ranked 10th amongst the best 360 sprint car drivers in the World. Jack’s hopes are to be able to gain a position every time he races with the series, in hopes that he can be in the top 3 by season’s end.

Jack Dover Racing is proud to introduce Jack’s newest Crew member, Blake Cook, from Washington State. Blake has been with JDR since the Devil’s Bowl, and he seems to fit into the program very well. Jack and Blake are looking forward to being a winning team with a lot of wins and success in 2012.

And the BIGGEST news of all, and we are hoping we can beat all the internet and message board “Buzz”. Jack is very excited to have a blue oval engine in his car next week for the National shows with the ASCS. Jack has joined forces with Roush Yates Racing Engines, and looks forward to a very successful season with a Ford under the hood. The Fords have already proven themselves with all the success that Jason Johnson has had with them in just a short amount of time. Johnson and Dover have a very solid relationship, and the 2 should be a winning combination for Roush Yates.

JDR would also like to send special thanks out To Shaver Racing Engines for all the great engines they provided us with in the past few years. Ron and his crew do a great job, and we appreciate everything they have done for JDR.

Due to mechanical issues from last week end at the NCRA race in Wichita, the Home Pride/ Certified Transmission # 53 will be sitting out this week end, and Jack will be piloting the familiar #24a for Gary Swenson, this week end at the Midwest ASCS show at I-80 Raceway. Jack will be back in his # 53 next week end, with a new power plant under the hood for the National ASCS races in Texas.

See ya at the races.
