Belleville, IL. (4/17/22) Hitting the smooth surfaces of state-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park for the second time this season, the Jackson Compaction POWRi Vado Wing Sprints would continue their year-long quest for a championship with Royal Jones earning his fifth career series feature victory.
Battling to heat race victories would find Royal Jones and Derek DeMartino earn early honors and claim the heat racing advantages, with Justin Lasiter gaining the pole starting position entering the feature event.
Packed to the brim with open-wheel action and excitement the POWRi Jackson Compaction 305 Wing Sprint Cars at Vado Speedway Park would not disappoint in their twenty-five-lap feature event as Royal Jones maintained a perfect night of racing by also claiming the feature win from a sixth starting position.
Finishing closely behind the winning Jones would witness seventh starting John Carney II attempt multiple times to seal his own celebration only to settle for a runner-up finishing position with Derek DeMartino placing third. Wes and Vance Wofford would have a spirited family battle on track with Wes gaining the upper hand to finish fourth with Vance rounding out the top-five at Vado Speedway Park.
