With the 2012 season upon us, Ventura Raceway is proud to announce the continuation of the contingency program for the VRA Midgets and the IMCA Modifieds. Started midway through the 2011 season, the following companies have allowed Ventura to offer $25 product certificates to the winner of their respective heat races.
Sander Engineering is the new sponsor of Heat #1 for the VRA Midgets. Glen Sander has been a longtime supporter of Southern California open wheel racing and he furthers that with the support of Ventura Raceway. Heat #2 is sponsored by Schroeder Racing Products. Schroeder returns to Ventura after being a heat race sponsor in 2010. BR Motorsports is 3 for 3 in Heat #3 with the VRA Midgets. Finally, West Evans Motorsports sponsors heat #4. WEM is owned by Moorpark-based TQ owner and driver, West Evans. For the VRA Midget competitor who has the hard luck throughout the night will be awarded a $100 product certificate by DJ Safety.
The competitor who can make a charge throughout the night and pass the most cars will be awarded a $50 product certificate by Weld Racing.
