In 2012, competitors in the VRA Sprint Car and Senior Sprint divisions will get a little extra from winning their heat races. With the help of these great companies Ventura Raceway will offer $25 product certificates from each company to the winner of the corresponding sponsor’s heat race.
Dan Wheeler’s Extreme Mufflers will sponsor VRA Sprint Car Heat #1. Extreme is adding heat race sponsorship to their involvement with Ventura Raceway as they are already an approved muffler supplier by VRA. Senior Sprint Heat #1 goes to SpinTech Mufflers. Spin Tech is another approved VRA muffler supplier. SpinTech is led by former sprint car driver Ron DiDonato and as a California sprint car racer; Ron knows the importance of a quiet race car but maintaining the horsepower. Heat #2 for the VRA Sprint Cars and Senior Sprints is sponsored by LRB Manufacturing. LRB is owned and operated by Rob Balga and located in Shingle Springs, CA. BR Motorsports has heat #3 covered for the VRA Sprint Cars and the Senior Sprints. 1992 National Sprint Car Poll Rookie of the Year Blake Robertson’s company has supported race teams and tracks for many years. The fourth and final VRA Sprint Car heat race is supported by Kaeding Performance. The name Kaeding is nationally known when it comes to any type of sprint car racing. Led by father Brent, along with his sons Tim and Bud, the Kaeding’s have amassed a resume in sprint car racing comparable to the best. In addition to the heat race sponsors, the competitor voted to the hard luck award will receive a $100 product certificate from DJ Safety. DJ Safety manufactures belts, helmets, fire suits and more for everything from race cars to off-road vehicles, and kids to adults.
For the driver who passes the most cars in the VRA Sprint Car feature, Weld Wheels will award a $50 product certificate.
