DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (April 2, 2022) - A few changes have been made to the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division general rulebook on the National format effective immediatley.
Updates include the following.
Drivers missing their qualifying group will receive one time lap (first lap on the clock) and will not be able to start better than fifth in the heat race while also not receiving passing points.
Ties in passing points will now be broken by the driver with the faster qualifying time instead of the low heat.
Updated general rulebook can be found under the rules tab of the NOW600 website.
Up next for the Lucas Oil NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship is April 8-9 at Dallas County Speedway in Urbana, Missouri.
