Howard Moore Competes in Lucas Oil ASCS Speedweek

Howard Moore kicked off the 2021 edition of the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Speedweek presented by Smiley's Racing Products on Friday night at Batesville (Ark.) Motor Speedway.

Thirty-four Sprinters were on hand, and Howard finished third in his heat race to earn the 12th-starting position for the feature.

In the 25-lap feature he passed three cars to finish ninth.

Saturday night took the team to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) where a talented field of 47 entries were on hand. On the heels of a second-place finish in his heat race and a fifth-place finish in his qualifier, Moore started 11th in the feature. He raced as high as the 5th spot in the feature before contact from behind sent him spinning. He was credited with a 20th-place finish.

The weekend drew to a close on Sunday evening at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.). With 36 entries in action, Howard won his heat race to lock into the seventh-starting spot for the feature. Unfortunately bad luck bit him for the second night in a row, when he was collected in a racing incident on the second lap, which ended his night early. Howard was shown 23rd in the feature rundown.
