EVENT UPDATE >> Creek County Clash Shifts To Saturday/Sunday Affair

Bryan Hulbert - SAPULPA, Okla. (March 7, 2022) With a very fridged forecast on Friday, officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division have shifted this weekend's Creek County Clash to Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13.

Stock Non-Wing, A-Class, Restricted, Outlaw, Sportsman, 600cc Modifieds, and Dwarf Cars will be on the card both nights.

The site of the second NOW600 ever contested on June 20, 2013; the Oklahoma quarter-mile has seen action across Micro, Dwarf, and 600cc Modified competition 56 times. The third weekend of racing on the 2022 season, it will be the second-weekend worth points towards the NOW600 National Championship and is the opening weekend for the Outlaw division.

Leading points going into the weekend, Pryor's Frank Flud tops Stock Non-Wing and A-Class with a win in each coming at Superbowl Speedway. Jaxton Wiggs sits atop Restricted points.

Friday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13 open at 1:00 P.M. with Pill Draw from 2:00 P.M to 3:15 P.M. NOW600 Driver's Meeting is at 3:30 P.M. with Hot Laps at 4:00 P.M. and Racing at 5:00 P.M. (CT). Please note that Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday. Don't forget to "Spring Forward" before you go to bed on Saturday night.

Tickets each day are $10 for adults, $5 for Youth 11-14, and free for Kids 10 and under. Pits are $30 per class, per day.
