Bryan Hulbert – CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (February 21, 2022) Gearing up for Round 3 on the 2022 season, the ASCS CAS Non-Wing Sprint Cars return to Central Arizona Speedway this Saturday, February 26 for the Cotton Classic.
Sweeping the season-opening Steffey Shootout on February 11 and 12, R.J. Johnson leads tour standings going into this weekend. A pair of top-five finishes through the opening weekend, Tye Mihocko holds second with Brody Roa riding a roller-coaster of a weekend to his current third-place standing. Jonas Reynolds and James Webster currently make up the top five in driver standings.
Saturday, February 26 will feature Power 600 Series Micros, Arizona Champ Karts, Pure Stocks, and Bombers in addition to the ASCS CAS Non-Wing Sprint Cars.
Tickets are $20 for adults and free for Kids 11 and under. Pits are $35 with Kids six and under free. Grandstands open at 4:00 P.M. Pits open at 3:00 P.M. (MT). Cars hit the track at 6:00 P.M. (MT). The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
