DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 5, 2022) - In under two weeks the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by the Hi Plains Building Division will open their 2022 campaign at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on February 18-19.
The 10th anniversary season for the National Micros will feature a new format released earlier in the off season which features Group Qualifying and Passing Points to determine the nights lineups.
"We can't wait to try out this new format." said NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "This takes the draw out of the equation, it will be up to the driver to determine their heat race starting spot, while using passing points and qualifying points to set the B and A-Main events."
Also announced is a $5,000 championship check for the Restricted 'A' Class National Champion in 2022 apart of the Velox Racing NOW600 Youth Movement.
All Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro events will be streamed LIVE on NOW600.TV in 2022!
Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class Micro Sprints will be in action on both nights.
Friday nights action will get underway at 7pm with Hot Laps at 6pm with Saturday's start time moving up one hour earlier.
