NOW600 Banner Flys at Airport Raceway in 2022!

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (February 1, 2022) - Returning for their fourth season, Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas will be under the sanctioning umbrella of the National Open Wheel 600 Series in 2022.

Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class Micro Sprints will headline the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Weekly Racing series at the southwestern Kansas 1/5 mile.

“We are very excited to have Jack Crook and crew back onboard with NOW600 this coming season.” commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “Airport Raceway has been under our sanction for four seasons now and in 2022 they will partake in our Weekly Racing point fund program.”

The 2022 NOW600 A-Class Champion will pocket $500 while a $300 check awaits the Restricted Champion.

Drivers must be NOW600 Members and compete in 80% of the scheduled races to be eligible for point fund.

14 nights of action currently lineup the Airport Raceway schedule for 2022 with action getting underway on Saturday, May 7 and concluding on September 3-4.

Weekly shows at Airport Raceway will include: NOW600 A-Class Micros, NOW600 Restricted Micros, Junior Sprints & Quarter Midgets with appearances from Dwarf Cars and Mod Lites.
