Belleville, IL. (1/30/22) Reaching the pinnacle of success within the POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro League presented by Engler Machine & Tool in 2017 as champion, the all-time career leader in league wins Joe B Miller aims to add to his already astonishing victory count while continuing to multiply to his repertoire of open-wheel talents.
Driving to forty-four career POWRi Micro victories Joe B Miller, of Millersville, MO, has maintained at least a pair of feature wins every year since 2011. Creating a run of success rarely rivaled all in the pursuit of a true “Outlaw” schedule with a multitude of divisions, sanctions, and racing opportunities all on the agenda for 2022 and beyond.
“Our team has put together a very tight schedule this year, full of major Micro shows, midget events, some wingless, some wing; National, Regional, Local; we’re planning on racing a little bit of everything next year,” said the four-time POWRi WAR Sprint League feature winner Miller about his upcoming year.
Splitting seat-time will be nothing new for Joe B Miller with many nights witnessing one of the nation’s top-talents pull double-to-triple duty behind the wheel, all the while mentoring up-and-coming racers on his race team. “Our priority remains with our developmental program, we continue to build on the momentum of the team and it’s great to see the results as Scotty and Lane progress,” said Miller.
Racing his team-branded Speed Shack Performance, Engler Machine & Tool, Lewis Trucking, Outlaw Mini Loaders, Speed Media, Robert Taylor Insurance, McGary Machine & Welding, M3 Motorsports, #51B while also wheeling for McGary Motorsports in select events, Joe B stated “We’re really playing everything by ear as far as the schedule allows” about his aims for a championship chase.
“It would be incredible to win a POWRi midget feature, with the competition level and only running a limited schedule in that division, it makes it even tougher, but that is definitely a goal. Now throw in the opportunity for POWRi 410-Wing racing, this year has a lot to be excited about” stated Miller. Will Joe B Miller be the first driver to carve their names in the POWRi history books as first-ever feature winner within the POWRi 410 Wing Outlaw Sprint League with the season starting at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, April 2nd?
