Interviews with former Rookie of the Years Craig Stidham & Bobby McMahan

Fresno’s Craig Stidham and Elk Grove’s Bobby McMahan will be call-in guests this evening on “KWS Tonight.”

Stidham was the Golden State Series Rookie of the Year in 2002 and will return to 410 sprint car racing this season with KWS. The former “Trophy Cup” champ will speak about his decision to follow the King of the West Series this year and how excited he is to get it all started.

McMahan ended last year as one of the hottest drivers with the King of the West Series and is gearing up to compete full time once again. This season the McMahan Motorsports team will expand to a two-car effort with young Sean McMahan gunning for Rookie of the Year with KWS.

We’ll also give a brief preview of races 16, 17 and 18 for 2012 that includes visits to the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, Antioch Speedway and the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico.

Craig Stidham will join the King of the West Sprint Car Series full time in 2012 and will be a guest on "KWS Tonight" to speak about the coming season. The Fresno driver was the 2001 Trophy Cup champ and also won the Golden State Rookie of the Year award in '02.
