Update on pre-season preparations
This offseason has been different compared to previous off seasons. On December 28, 2011 Larry Ball Jr was involved in a snowmobile accident and would be hospitalized for 10 days with 5 broken ribs, bruised lung and multiples cuts and bruises on his head. This has put us behind a bit as we prepare for 2012. Larry has been progressing really well as of late and we have really been able to get back to work. Just last week we took the 360 engine to Ostrich Racing Engines in Des Moines, IA to get refreshed. Today I was also able to find time to take the 305 to Ostrich Racing Engines for a pre-season tune up and I also took our Brand New Eagle Chassis to DeJong Manufacturing in New Sharon, IA to get a nice black powder coat. Things are looking great for 2012. I will be piloting the White Lighting Motorsports #5Jr in the 360 division at Knoxville Raceway and Larry Ball Jr will be piloting the #5J in the 305 division at Knoxville Raceway. This season looks to be a good one, check in for frequent updates and pictures on our pre-season preparation. Also don't forget to attend the 3rd Annual Jamie Ball Fundraiser on March 3, 2012 at Dyer Hudson Hall in Knoxville, IA. Stay tuned....
