Austin Kryta after running a full season in the modifieds is back for year 2 still being the youngest driver in the field at 15 years old.
Austin Kryta (age15) is no stranger to racing - he started at 8 years old and within a couple of years was the MMRA Quarter Midget Champion in two classes. At the End of his quarter midget career, he was running 5 cars in all different class and in one weekend would have over 1000 laps of track time.
As he outgrew the QM cars he raced karts Dirt oval at Arthur Raceway running three classes earning many wins and a quarter Midget championship and tops spots with the karts.
Austin Moved on the Road Course racing at East Lansing Kart Track earning 2 Track Championships and in the last year won ever heat race and feature for 17 in a row. On the regional / National Level he was ranked 5th in the country.
in 2022 Austin raced Dwarf cars in a few events to get his feet wet in full size racing.
Austin had earned his SCCA full competition road course license and has raced all over the country.
in 2021 Austin Competed in 103 feature races and has 79 Career wins. With over 500 feature starts this 15-year-old is no stranger to racing.

Austin's favorite number is 13 because as a kid when learning to count he would always skip 13 so his teachers plastered the number 13 on everything! and one day it stuck to be his number.
Austin comes from a long line of car guys, with his dad and uncle being the founders of inline tube (the Brake Line Company) and being into muscle cars for 50 years. Austin's first word was car followed by MOM and DAD. He was not interested in main stream sports so racing is his sport of choice.
On day At the Detroit Autorama Car Show Austin Spotted the little Quarter Midget Car and he was hooked. He said to his dad " did you know they make race cars for little kids" His dad thought he would let it go in a few days but brought it up daily until we got a car.
Austin's famous last words are "just 20 more laps please" over and over until it gets dark.
