Dupo, IL (March 28, 2017) Two weeks ago, Kyle Schuett returned to the seat of the Schuett Racing #9K at the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin for the 2nd Annual Shamrock Classic. With a stellar field of cars, Kyle’s pill draw put him in the back of a tough heat race and even after charging forward, he was returned to the tail of the field after hard contact put him in the front stretch wall. He made a great recovery in the C-main and transferred to the back of the B-main. Starting 16th in the B, Kyle once again charged forward to an eighth-place finish, just a few spots shy of making the A-main event.
This weekend, Kyle will once again jump in the seat of his RayPro Engineering powered DRC Chassis as he and his team head to Montpelier Speedway in Indiana for their first night of outdoor racing. Last year, Kyle had some great runs at Montpelier, so he will be hoping to put his #9K back at the front of the field once again. Following Montpelier, will be a big weekend of USAC racing on April 7th and 8th when the midgets make their return to the famed Kokomo Speedway. Always a fan and racer favorite, Kokomo has put on some of the best midget races of any track in the country. Kyle will take on the best of the United States Auto Club when he heads out in just a few weeks.
As the season starts to get busy, Kyle and his Schuett Racing team would like to thank all the fans for their continued support throughout Kyle’s racing career. Kyle would also like to give a big thank you to the sponsors that make racing each week possible.
