MYERSTOWN, PA. (July 18, 2016) – Brent Marks represented Pennsylvania well during World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series action at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, qualifying for all three Kings Royal weekend programs on July 14-16. The “Myerstown Missile” finished 20th, 22nd, and 16th during his tenure at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track with his best finish occurring during the Kings Royal finale on Saturday, July 16. Marks started 12th during the 40-lap, $50,000-to-win main event and battled just outside of the top-ten for most of the distance before settling into 16th. There were 60 entries on the Eldora Speedway grounds for the Saturday night finale.
“That was an awesome weekend,” Brent Marks said, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No. 19M. “To go out there and qualify for the main event every night against that level of talent is pretty incredible. We were pretty comfortable all weekend. My guys took a lot of notes and are already excited to use them during our next visit. The atmosphere out there is second to none. That will definitely be an annual visit.”
Brent Marks will continue his 2016 campaign with three more starts against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series beginning Tuesday night, July 19, at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
