Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 15, 2016) – Skylar Prochaska garnered a sprint car victory at Jackson Motorplex for the second straight week on Friday during GDF Bobcat/KICD Radio Night.
Prochaska advanced from sixth to win the first of twin Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars main events as well as increase his lead in the championship standings. Casey Heser claimed the second feature with Colin Smith winning the Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars main event and Alex Schriever the Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprint car race.
The action began with Prochaska maneuvering his way from the third row to pick up the first 20-lap Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars feature. Scott Winters, Gregg Bakker, Brandon Halverson and 11th starting Matt Juhl rounded out the top five, respectively.
Heser, who finished seventh in the first main event to catch the feature inversion for the second main event perfectly, took advantage of his front row starting position for the second feature. He scored his first victory of the season at Jackson Motorplex with Bakker finishing second, Halverson third, Winters fourth and Prochaska fifth.
Halverson and Winters were the heat race winners.
Smith won his second Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars event of the season and pulled himself within 10 points of the lead in the championship standings. Brady Forbrook charged from ninth to the runner-up position. Jesse Lindberg ended third, Elliot Amdahl fourth and points leader Mike Stien was fifth.
