Knoxville, IA (April 11, 2016)-Jon Agan, driver of the Agan Motorsports #4, looked to start the season on April 2nd with the Sprint Invaders but mother nature thought otherwise and the season opener was rescheduled for April 3rd. Jon and team are seeking their 3rd consecutive Sprint Invaders Championship in 2016.
The season opener took place at 34 Raceway in Burlington, IA. Despite a DNF in the heat race, Jon bounced back after starting 20th in the A Main to finish 10th.
Scheduled for Friday, April 8th was a co-sanctioned event with the NSL Go Muddy 360s and the Sprint Invaders. With cold temperatures and rain, this event was cancelled. This event may be rescheduled for a date later in the season.
This past Saturday, Jon took advantage of Practice Night at Knoxville Raceway and was able to turn several laps in the 360.
Next up is the Knoxville Raceway Season Opener. Jon has 10 career wins at Knoxville and is hoping to add more in 2016.
