Martin Motorsports made their ASCS National debut this weekend at the infamous Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX. This was Caleb's first time with the National Series and at the famed 1/2 mile dirt track. Hall of Fame Sprint Car legend Gary Wright was the Crew Chief for the weekend that was shortened to one night after rain fell Friday! Caleb charged from the 4th starting position to finish 2nd in the heat. Mechanical failures caused a DNF in the Qualifier, which lined him up 3rd in the B-Main where he finished 2nd, locking him in the 30 lap feature event! Caleb drove the Omron Oilfield #51 to a 13th place finish from the 20th starting position for a satisfying night and start to the 2016 season!
The team will be racing with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series and Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region for a pair of events on Friday at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX and Saturday at Bronco Raceway in Cleveland, TX.
