Jamie Veal last night won the 44th edition of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway. He led all 40 laps through the feature.
There were a number of tense times for Veal particularly when he claimed the white flag only for the yellow flag to come out and bring it back to a green/white/chequer. But Veal looked in control and held off a strong Kerry Madsen.
Robbie Farr passed Kyle Hirst midway through the feature. He came home finishing on the podium. This was his first podium of his career at the Classic. Despite the huge amount of success Farr has had, he past a small milestone.
Reigning champ Kyle Hirst finished 4th and looked good all night without being able to really push late in the feature with Sweet moving through from 16 to 5 in only 20 laps. But that's where the forward progressed finished.
Veal was brilliant all weekend and claimed what is obviously his biggest feature win of his career.
