Danny Dietrich Wins the Final Race and Greg Hodnett Wins His 7th Championship
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars ran their final race of the 2015 season Saturday November 14th at Susquehanna Speedway Park. Danny Dietrich won the feature for his 16th win of the season. Justin Henderson finished 2nd with Lance Dewease 3rd and 2015 point champion Greg Hodnett 4th. 2015 Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars champion Greg Hodnett's title is his sixth in seven years and seventh overall.
There were 92 races with it possible for a driver to compete in 75 of them. 33 drivers won races, and 92 drivers earned points.
Champion Greg Hodnett in the Heffner Racing #27 had 61 top tens with Dietrich 55, Montieth 44, Wolfe 48, Marks 47, Dewease 46, Ott 36, S. Smith 21, Krimes 33, and Haas 28.
The top 10 in final points will all receive checks from the $21,000 point fund with champion Greg Hodnett getting $6,000 back to 10th place Cory Haas receiving $1,000.
The 2016 season begins at Lincoln Speedway in February of 2016.
