Always a threat to win in the famed "Red Deuce," Kyle Stark has finished third and second, the last two seasons in AFS Badger Midget Auto Racing Association points. His car has been piloted by some of the best Badger has ever offered, including, but not limited to, Davey Ray and Danny Stratton. Guest appearances in the car have included Kasey Kahne.

BMARA: Were you a fan of racing before you got behind the wheel and if so, who were your heroes and what tracks did you attend?
KYLE: Always been a fan of racing but on the asphalt side of it. Hung around Jefferson Speedway and Columbus 151 Speedway most of my early years.
BMARA: Give us a synopsis of your racing career:
KYLE: I started out in the 4-cylinder, front-wheel-drive division at Jefferson Speedway and ran that for couple years. Moved into Hobby Stock division which are old Monte Carlos etc and ran for 5 years at Jefferson and occasionally Columbus 151 and Madison Speedway 1/4 mile.
From there I built a new 4-cylinder car and started traveling all around the midwest and further, pretty much chasing payouts and trophies and just having fun, in which I’m still doing today.
Along with this I’ve travel around the midwest racing 4 cyl. enduro races most around 300 laps. Three years ago now, I had a friend tell me that Harlin was looking for a driver for his midget and for some reason I got to run it and been a big swing for me ever since.
BMARA: How much time do you spend on the car each week during the season?
KYLE: I don’t get a chance to put to much time into the car during the week because Harlin usually has it washed, prepped and waxed before I get off work Monday.

BMARA: What's something interesting the fans might not know about you?
KYLE: For hobbies I just love working on our 4cyl cars and usually spend way too much time building and working on those. But I also enjoy just going to the races to watch. I like camping when we get open weekends with my wife, Kiersten and two kids, Karter, Kastyn and our friends.
I also have a dog named, Nismo, who we named after Nissan Motorsports which are the cars we normally have ran.
