Belleville, IL. (4/5/22) As announced at the 2021 Awards Banquet in January, the Lucas Oil West Midget League presented by Realty Connect will see certain changes in key operational positions as Eric Fenton switches over the Series Directing duties to Paul Atkins.
POWRi Officials would like to thank the family of Eric and Jessica Fenton for their outstanding contributions to the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget League presented by Realty Connect since the series inception, as well as the overall racing landscape in Oklahoma.
“Without Eric’s guidance and supervision, the West series would have never gotten off the ground while being built into what it has become today, his impact on midget racing is immense,” said POWRi owner Kenny Brown. Adding “The series remains a hotbed of talent with several drivers transitioning to run national events, as the co-sanction races showcase just how strong the competition is.”
Taking over the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget League Director responsibilities will see longtime official Paul Atkins enter into the role as his wife Felecia Atkins will monitor the entries/scoring tasks.
Teams within the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget League presented by Realty Connect next see racing action at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City Oklahoma on Saturday, April 9th.
