Drivers registration is now open for the upcoming May 16th show at Park Jefferson Speedway for the Sprint Cars, Stock Cars, Sport Modifieds and Hobby Stock programs. Park Jefferson wrapped up the IMCA Spring Nationals presented by Ricky Lemmen Motorsports with a second night of hammer down excitement. After discussions with USMTS Preseident Todd Staley, it was decided to postpone the USMTS portion of the Memorial Day racing program as a number of drivers were already making plans to head home due to the forcast. With rain falling this morning at Park Jefferson, the track crew has been unable to get on the track and wouldn't be able to begin track prep until this afternoon. As a result, officials have cancelled the Pepsi South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals and will look for a possible makeup date.
