Gengo Racing travelled to Willis Texas to compete with the Lonestar 600's. After a long time outside of the car Hunter knew he had to get back in the hang of things. Gengo Racing finishes the 2017 season with a total of 26 races scheduled but only raced 17 due to cancellations and rain out's. Throughout the season Gengo Racing battled technical issues but fought through it and found a way to stay consistent with NOW 600's and the Lone star 600's. The night was delayed for 2 hours after only 2 heats for lightening, then a downpour. The Creek County Staff did a remarkable job getting the track back in shape to resume the nights program resulting in a very fast racing surface. The CMR Racing team traveled to Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana over this Labor day weekend and ran the double header show on Saturday and Sunday. The team would finish 10th on both nights.
