Crown jewel Clash at the Creek is June 19-20 at 141

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – Ten thousand dollars is the top prize at 141 Speedway’s June 19 and 20 Clash at the Creek special for IMCA Modifieds.

Both the purse and the quality of competition have made the Clash one of the crown jewels for IMCA Modifieds and the 11th annual event is sure to be one of the best. Ken Schrader returns to the field for the rich Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier, which will pay a minimum of $750 to start.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods race for $1,000 to win both nights at Francis Creek.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, and E3 Spark Plugs Wisconsin State points will be awarded.

Pre-tech starts at noon and an open practice session runs from 6-9 p.m. on Tues­day, June 18. Dirt Kings Late Models are in town, pit passes are $25 and admission to the grandstand is $10 for adults.

Clash qualifying for the Modifieds starts Wednesday, June 19. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday grand­stand admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students; on Thursday, admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.

Kids ages 10 and under get in free when accompa­nying a paid adult and pit passes are $30 each day. Three-day pit passes are $75.

Entry fee for Modifieds is $200 if paid by June 1, $250 after that date or $300 on race day.
