Heath Ready to Defend Summer Thunder Sprint Series Title in 2015

Colton Heath is primed and ready to defend his Summer Thunder Sprint Car Series point championships aboard the LAW Motorsports #33 in 2015. The Marysville, WA driver will debut his brand new XXX Chassis powered by Shark Racing Engines at the Summer Thunder Sprintcar Series presented by Here 2 Wire and Finishline Graphics season opening event on Saturday April 4th at the Yakima Fairgrounds Dirt Track.

“We’re really excited to get the lid lifted a little bit early on defending our titles in 2015. The car owners, crew, all the sponsors have really stepped up and gave me a great chance to build on what happened last year,” said Colton.

Heath, the head tech and welder at Triple X Race Components, is excited to run Yakima. “We’ve always been fast at Yakima, but never scored a victory. I’ve got a brand new chassis underneath me along with fresh power from Shark, and all of us are excited to see what Mark and Slim do with the racetrack over there. This Summer Thunder deal gives guys a chance to race for some more money, and I want every dime of that $3,000 to win first place money!” said Heath.

This year’s Summer Thunder Sprintcar Series presented by Here 2 Wire and Finishline Graphics will open on April 4th at the Yakima Fairgrounds Dirt Track in Yakima, WA with the Shipwreck Bead Modifieds running as the support division. Racing will begin at 5pm and end at 8pm.
