URSS Is Back At Dodge City For Weekend Double

Bryan Hulbert – DODGE CITY, Kan. (July 20, 2022) The Summer Nationals at Dodge City Raceway Park take place on Friday, July 22, and Saturday, July 23 with the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford headlining the southwestern Kansas doubleheader.

Two visits already on the 2022 season, Steven Richardson and Zach Blurton have each earned a win at the three-eighths-mile oval. Eleven nights into the season, Richardson leads the way still with Jeremy Huish and Ty Williams making the top three-point chasers. To date, 62 drivers have taken part in at least one event this season.

The weekend includes Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks (Non-Points on Hobby Stock Class only) Mod-Lites and A-Class, and Restricted Micros.

Times have been adjusted due to the forecasted heat. Gates open at 6:30 P.M., Hot Laps at 7:30 P.M., and Racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT).
