United Rebel Sprint Series Kicking Off 2022 Season At Dodge City Raceway Park

Bryan Hulbert – DODGE CITY, Kan. (April 4, 2022) Kicking off the 17th year of competition this Friday, April 8, and Saturday, April 9, the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford will headline action at Dodge City Raceway Park.

The site of the very first URSS event in 2006, Jon Johnson captured the series' inaugural checkered flag. Looking back at the tour's most recent trips to the three-eighths-mile oval, seven visits in 2021 saw four wins earned by Taylor Velasquez, while Jeremy Huish, Ty Williams, and Kyler Johnson each made a trip to Victory Lane.

The start of the 2022 season at Dodge City, Friday and Saturday, opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (CDT). Admission per night is $20. Each night includes IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and the Kansas Antique Racers.
